The Shawnee Chamber's Women Inspiring Women Affinity Group September 16th meeting will be at 8:15 A.M, at McLain's Market. Each Women Inspiring Women meeting offers Shawnee area working ladies the chance to network with one another and to dive into a special topic.

Join us for an informational session about Dress for Success Kansas City, Keisha’s Closet, a program of Connections to Success, dedicated to helping women in our community step confidently into their careers. The mission of Dress for Success is to empower unemployed and underemployed women to achieve economic independence by providing no-fee programs, development tools, and professional attire to thrive both at work and in life.

During this session, you’ll learn how our professional clothing program equips women with clothing for interviews and the early weeks of employment. Individuals schedule an appointment to visit our boutique, where trained volunteers help you select an interview-ready outfit and offer guidance to prepare for success.

We’ll also share details on career advancement and workforce readiness opportunities available through our broader Connections to Success programs, supporting women in every step of their journey toward living-wage employment and lasting stability.
